This eye-catching wing headpiece features a pair of magnificent jay wings. The colour and patterns of the feathers take centre stage particularly the tiny blue pinstripes emanating from the centre. These wings have been treated and preserved in an open position to create a beautiful butterfly shape that perches on the side of the head.
The centre and underside of the wings are blended together Melanistic Pheasant feathers, this genetic mutation causes some pheasants to have deep black feathers with beautifully glossy blue-green tips.
The wings are mounted on a metal headband that has been hand wrapped in black satin ribbon for a secure stylish fit that can easily be disguised with your hair if desired.

Seller is not responsible for delays in shipping due to the carrier or customs delays.
The buyer is responsible for any customs fees and charges. Any orders returned due to non-payment of customs charges will not be refunded delivery fees or any other costs incurred in recovering the parcel. Custom orders will may also be subject to charges for materials used if specially sourced.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
> Ready to Wear Items: I offer refunds or exchanges on all ready to wear items excluding earrings and face masks for hygiene reasons.
To return or exchange an item you must contact me in writing within 7 days of receipt of the item and they must be posted back within 14 days of receipt.
If you wish to exchange your item please contact me within 14 days of receipt.
> Made to order items: I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges on products that are made to order or customised. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
> Items must be returned in perfect unworn condition with all packaging and with all care taken to ensure it is properly protected and packaged for its return journey - if you require advice on this please get in touch. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value and there may be a charge for the repair of the item.
> Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. I recommend using recorded delivery for returns, no refunds can be issued on returns that have not been received.

Distance Selling Regulations
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, customers within the EU have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of certain goods from Flora and the Fox at any time within the seven working days of the day after the day on which the customer receives the goods (the ''seven-day cooling-off period''). To cancel your contract within the seven-day cooling-off period please notify me in writing. Please package the items securely and return them to me. All returns must be in perfect condition and with their original packaging and tags. If notice is received of your cancellation of this order within the seven day cooling-off period, we will refund the purchase price for that item together with any postage charge.
Made to order or customised goods are exempt from this cancellation right.

Do you accept custom orders?
Yes, I do! Please contact me and we can discuss options and quotes. Although I am currently not taking custom orders for flower crowns or flower hair clips.
Can I return or exchange a custom item?
No, sales on custom or altered items are final and can not be returned or exchanged
What information is needed for a custom order?
Most importantly please let me know the date you need the item by and the country it would be delivered to. Then any ideas about the design you have i.e colour, size, shape. Are there any of my items you would like the design based on / inspired by? Reference images are useful, especially colour swatches.
